This time The Hague has it right, censoring China's behavior on the South China Sea: It's construction of artificial islands and their expansive claims of sovereignty. This supports a complaint from the Philippines.
The arbitration result: The Republic of the Philippines vs. The People's Republic of China.
But I mean, just look at the stupid territorial water claim from Beijing, it's absurd! How can China claim ownership of seas so far beyond 200 miles, and so much closer to Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei and Malaysia? Preposterous!
China's ridiculous artificial islands fool no-one.
I hope the US enforces freedom of transit on international waters that China has claimed as their own. The international community shouldn't let any country to just de-facto take the territory of others.
